Fresh from college at the University of Maryland, Don worked as a software developer on a series of defense contracts funded through the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA). Tiring of defense work, he transitioned to Internet start-ups, working in both the education and health sectors for nearly a decade. He is currently a software architect and technical team lead for the Bureau of Labor Statistics. 

Don lives in the Capitol Hill neighborhood of Washington, D.C. with his wife, the cat Zeus, and too many bottles of wine.
